Environmental

The Environmental Health Department works to protect public health and promote a safe, healthy environment throughout our community. Our staff investigates environmental and public health complaints, facilitates animal quarantines to prevent rabies in the community, and provides education and guidance to residents and businesses. The department also issues permits and conducts inspections for food establishments, hotels, mobile home and RV parks, schools, body art and piercing facilities, youth camps, public swimming pools, and onsite sewage systems.
