CLINIC SERVICES:
Covid Vaccines – Covid vaccination only for children 6 months to age 18 if they qualify for the VFC program. Free Covid tests on hand while supplies last. No testing on-site.
Flu Vaccines – (Seasonal, typically available September–May), by appointment only.
Diabetes/Nutrition Services – Free education and support group meetings at the Bullitt County Health Department. Call for dates and times.
Immunizations – Vaccines For Children (VFC) available for eligible infants and children. Limited adult vaccines available. Please call for more information.
Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) – Provided by a Registered Dietitian for eligible individuals. Includes individual counseling on weight loss and heart-healthy diabetic foods that are low sodium and low cholesterol. Please call for more information.
STD and HIV Services – Testing and treatment for most sexually transmitted diseases. HIV counseling and referral services. All services are CONFIDENTIAL. *Unable to accept private insurance.
Tuberculosis Testing – Skin tests performed on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays by appointment only. Preventive and therapeutic treatments for TB infection and disease as applicable.
WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) – A supplemental food program for those meeting both income and nutritional eligibility guidelines. For pregnant, post-partum or breastfeeding women and children to age 5.
EDUCATION SERVICES:
Grief Counseling – Resources available for the parents of a child who died before their 18th birthday. Referrals provided for those eligible.
HANDS Program (Health Access Nurturing Development Services) – A free and voluntary home visitation program for expecting or new parents providing education on child development, screening for developmental milestones, postpartum depression screening, resources, and fun activities.
Health Education – Provides health and wellness speakers to schools, community organizations, and worksites. We offer nutrition, programs, health fairs, tobacco cessation programs, and a variety of other health-related programs.

Biometric Screenings – To measure blood pressure, height, weight, waist, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, and blood glucose. *For community events and health fairs only
ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES:
Food Service Inspection – Including retail food markets, restaurants, food trucks/ trailers, and schools’ food service programs.
General Sanitation Services – Including rabies control, nuisance complaints, and private sewage complaints.
On-site Sewage Services – Including site evaluations, inspections, existing system inspections, and permits.
Public Facilities Inspections – Including hotels, motels, mobile home parks, youth camps, RV parks, swimming areas, schools, and tattoo studios.
HARM REDUCTION:
Harm Reduction – We offer initiatives that aim to reduce negative impacts of substance use and abuse through various efforts such as providing access to free naloxone, training on how to use naloxone, and providing referrals and resources for those who need additional information or assistance. We also offer free Fentanyl testing strips.
MENTAL HEALTH:
Mental Health – Collaborating with community partners to provide education, support, and resources. We host events, provide seminars, and have interactive discussions that are geared toward aspects of mental health. Services will be expanding soon.
