Brooks/Freedom FRC

Brooks/Freedom FRC serves the children and families of Brooks Elementary and Freedom Elementary.  The purpose of the Family Resource Center is to remove barriers to education so that all children and families may be successful.

Dare to Care

Dare to Care distributes food to our partner agencies, which include food pantries, shelters, emergency kitchens, and other social service organizations. In turn, these agencies provide food assistance to community members in need.

​

Dare to Care serves the following counties in Kentucky: Bullitt, Jefferson, Spencer, Shelby, Oldham, Trimble, Henry, and Carroll, and the following counties in Indiana: Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, and Washington.

​

If you are in need of food assistance, please call Dare to Care at 502-966-3821 to find an agency in your area.

The Golden Arrow Center for Mothers and Children

An outreach ministry of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

We seek to make the life option viable; honor and meet each person on their life’s journey in hopes that our clients develop personal ownership of decisions to effect positive changes in their lives, always following St. Martin of Tours’ vision. The Golden Arrow Center also gives referrals for other services rendered in the community. We provide assistance to mothers, mothers-to-be and their children.

  • We help clothe and feed the innocents from birth to age five

  • We offer listening ears and open hearts to parents in need of understanding and friendship

  • We do these things joyfully, for the glory of God, in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ:

Hand In Hand Family Resource Center

Bullitt County Family Resource Center aimed at serving families in the Maryville/Overdale elementary school area. This center provides assistance with basic needs, educational support, health service referrals and works toward removing barriers to academic success.

Journey Church

Journey has a food pantry of shelf stable items. To pick up a box please contact the office phone number Monday-Thursday between 10-2 to arrange to pick up a box. Journey has a clothes closet for those in need of clothing. Infant to adult clothing. Please contact the Journey Clothes Closet Facebook page to make an appointment to come pick out items needed.

The Turnaround Resource Center was established in September 2017 to assist anyone who enters the building with information on how to get out of the current situation.
